Graphic Overlay
Graphic images are created by screen printing colored inks on the subsurface side of clear substrate material. Once printed and cut to size, this layer becomes the Graphic Overlay.
The graphic overlay is an integral part of the membrane switch. It is the most visible portion of the switch assembly, displaying colors, graphic pattern as well as switch locations for operation. It also provides protection for an environmentally hostile application.
Only ones imagination and budget limit the range of decorative options. ( For prototypes computer printed Graphic Overlays is best suited option.)
We recommend a graphic layer material based on their experience and a careful review of the application details. While majority go for Polycarbonate material polyester is becoming popular material for applications that demand CLEAR DISPLAY / Embossing of the keys etc.
